The Valley Symphony Orchestra has been serving the Rio Grande Valley community with some pretty incredible renditions for a very long time now, and they've recently announced their 2023–2024 masterworks concert season. There will be five concerts in the series, all hosted at the McAllen Performing Arts Center.
These include Music of the Greats, Lyrical Legends, Potter and Piano, Spellbound Symphony, and, of course, the reason why you're here, A TOUCH OF FROST. All events will be conducted by Maestro Peter Dabrowski. Throughout his tenure at VSO, he has entertained audiences with his amazing skills throughout Texas.
Both the Moscow International Music Festival and the Cross Drumming Festival in Warsaw have featured works by Maestro Dabrowski. Additional recognition comes from McAllen and Edinburg, as well as a star on the Rio Grande Valley Walk of Fame in Hidalgo. Both the Mexican Consulate in McAllen and the University of Texas-Pan American have recognized him as a Distinguished Faculty member for his work promoting Mexican music.
This being the 23rd annual performance of A TOUCH OF FROST, it is a must-see for any fan of music. It's a holiday classic featuring the Valley Symphony Chorale and will take place on December 1. The Director of Choral Studies at UTRGV, Dr. Sean Taylor, will lead the choir and the Symphony's famous rendition of Feliz Navidad will open the holiday concert, along with music from "The Nutcracker" and Handel's "Messiah."
You can expect to be blown away by the orchestra as they perform hit after hit, and they're well known for getting the crowd to interact with them. It's going to be a really fun occasion and a great way to get you into the holiday spirit. If there was ever a way to start your December right, this is it.
Something this special only comes around once a year and will be packed to the brim. Fortunately, you've come to the best place to secure your spot, but you must act now as they won't be around for long. So without further ado, grab your reservations right on this site!!!
