The Liverpool Legends distinctly stands as the only tribute band with a true Beatle link, through Louise Harrison, the sister of Beatle George. It all began when Louise chanced upon actor-musician Marty Scott, pre-destined to play George Harrison. As Louise reflected on that moment:
“This figure comes out on stage looking exactly like my brother, singing a song [‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps’] sounding exactly like my brother, and for the first time since he had died, the tears just streamed down my face,” remembers Harrison.
From there, Louise personally curated and completed the cast that would stand in to portray John, Paul, and Ringo.
“Each member of the group is so close to the originals that I often feel like I’m transported back in time with the lads. These are exactly the kind of fun-loving quality musicians that my brother George would have loved to hang out with,” says Harrison.
And as an added personal touch, Louise Harrison personally narrates significant segments of the show, making it a truly complete Beatles experience.
