Heyooo Texas magic lovers, McAllen familia, and every single person who said, “I’ll catch John next weekend” — WELL GUESS WHAT?! Next weekend is HERE - and we want YOu here right next to us when it all goes down in the middle of the crowd! We are officially entering the final weekend of the John Milton New Year’s residency, and somehow, after three straight weeks of putting the entire city into a deep, collective sleep… the man is still looking strong, still looking dangerous, and very clearly looking to close this thing out with a BANG. So you know what that means folks - another chance to see all the chaos energy that Milton and his crew brings is exactly what we need to make this mid January weekend feel like New Years Eve all over again. Another show with the mythical man himself - John Milton is here at the PAC on January 16th - so you already KNOW where to be! 

Now let’s clear the air real quick - NO, he is NOT the poet you pretended to read on SparkNotes back in the day for your American Lit class, but we made the same mistake the first time around too so we don’t blame you. This is the Milton who matters for everything else - El Caballero de la Hipnosis. The hometown hero and cultural staple of McAllen who’s performed in our theatre over 300 times(!!!).. The guy who’s been running laps around this stage for WEEKS and somehow hasn’t lost any grace or deep sleep power since he kicked off the new year. Three weeks deep into the residency and hundreds of volunteers later - we’ve seen it all with the ball we’ve had with John. From countless unsuspecting guests saying “wait… why am I crying?” and moments later having Milton is still out here snapping fingers, dropping jaws, and having the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand - AKA us, AKA me you and the crew! By now, you’ve probably heard a story or two of someone talking about how they SWORE they “would never go up on stage” and then….absolutely did. This is the show where your dad thinks he’s flying a spaceship, your cousin becomes Beyoncé, and we all reconsider if we should be magicians instead of mathematicians for our day time gig. Comedy and therapy and chaos all at once - we’re here to make the magical become reality, and THAT’S why we need you here for the last hoorah. 

So McAllen - let’s lock in one more time. Hydrate and stretch because who knows if you’ll be called on stage next. And then: let’s shut it down for the best! See y’all friday, right here in the middle of the P.A.C..
