Founded in 2004 by Emilio Santos in Rio Grande Valle, Texas, the McAllen-based mriachi group has performed in various concerts, festivals, birthday & wedding bookings, and many more gigs where rich musical tradition is celebrated. Translating to "seven leagues", these performers are known for their authenticity, emotive moves, and technical expertise on the musical artform. You can expect bold and powerful vocal delivery, smooth moves, and lush strings that highlight authentic mariachi arrangements. Taking you on a ride through the traditional music form's history, it's a wonderful showcase of musicianship, passion, and creativity strongly rooted in tradition.
This 32-member student dance company is a proud home to students dedicated to learning and promoting Mexican culture in the heart of Texas, and of course beyond. Known for their astounding rhythmic footwork, powerful storytelling, and dance mastery, their annual Alegria and festival shows are always jam-packed with audiences coming over to celebrate Mexican dance's rich heritage. A full-on sensory experience, these students live out the very essence of mariachi with exquisite moves and powerful notes.
